Sunday Review

Formula Renault 3.5
Race Two Result: Bianchi 1st (25 points).

A cracking race saw Jules Bianchi take maximum points during race two, in very wet conditions. Jules had qualified on pole and got a great start on the wet tyres. However during the race, the Frenchman did run wide, which let Antonio Felix da Costa (who has done a young driver test for SFI in the past) through into the lead. Jules kept calm though and was able to re-pass during the mandatory pit stop phase.

As for the other title contenders; Sam Bird managed 3rd place but Robin Frijns could only manage 9th which means it is all change in the championship!

Drivers' Championship (1st-3rd):
1) Jules Bianchi (179 pts)
2) Robin Frijns (174)
3) Sam Bird (155)

Jules LEADS the championship! There are just two races to go & 50 points remaining - what a showdown this will be!! The final two races are on the 20th & 21st October at the Circuit de Catalunya, Spain.
