Indian GP - Qualifying Results

Results: Hulkenberg 12th (1:26.241), di Resta 16th (1:26.989), Karthikeyan 23rd (1:30.593).

Fairly disappointing results sadly.

As it's the Indian GP, the TV director showed a lot of the Sahara Force India cars today. Having seen the majority of Paul di Resta's lap - it's pretty clear the Scottish driver had poor balance in the car and he was unable to get the maximum laptime possible.

Nico Hulkenberg meanwhile did get the maximum available, but he still missed out on Q3 sadly. The pace just wasn't there today. It seems as if the team went the wrong way on setup this morning.

12th & 16th - not brilliant, but decent results are possible from there, especially as the times we are setting in sector one (including the long straight) are quick.

Meanwhile Narain Karthikeyan qualifies 23rd, 0.069 seconds ahead of Charles Pic. The Indian driver will have been hoping to beat his teammate de la Rosa, but considering he was only 0.001 second slower, Narain won't be too disappointed with that.

More analysis later.
