Singapore GP - Qualifying Results

Results: di Resta 6th (1:47.241), Hulkenberg 11th (1:47.975), Karthikeyan 23rd (1:52.372).

A decent session for Sahara Force India, but i am a little disappointed that both cars didn't make Q3.

Paul di Resta did a great job to secure 6th place though, the crucial question for him is how many sets of new super-soft tyres did he use? When we know, we'll let you know.

As for Nico Hulkenberg, he did a decent lap in Q2, ended up in P11, just 0.032 seconds behind Rosberg who snuck into the final part of qualifying. Actually, this could play into Nico's hands. He's the first man on the grid who can chose his tyres tomorrow. It may actually become P10, Mark Webber is under investigation for holding up Charles Pic in Q1 - we often see 5-place grid penalties for that.

Speaking of five-place grid penalties, Narain Karthikeyan's teammate, de la Rosa had one - but it didn't matter. Narain beat him for P23 anyway - by a whole second! That suggests de la Rosa had some problem, but take nothing away from Narain, he did a great lap and has out-qualified his teammate for the second time this season.

More analysis coming later :-)
