Singapore GP - Practice Three Results

Results: Hulkenberg 4th (1:48.859), di Resta 7th (1:49.684), Karthikeyan 22nd (1:54.421).

So, Sahara Force India - race pace is good, quali pace is good, chances of a decent result is good!

These positions are a little skewed as there was a red flag at the end of the session which meant not all cars could do a run on the faster super-soft tyres. Webber & Button probably would have put in a time quicker than Nico Hulkenberg.

I'm not entirely sure why Paul di Resta was around eight tenths slower than Nico. Paul did do personal best times in all three sectors which suggests the gap is down to either a cracking lap by Nico, or, more likely, Paul not pushing 100%.

Both VJM05's should really get into Q3 this weekend & with Sauber struggling we really need this to happen in order to maximise our advantage this weekend. No excuses this time.

Meanwhile Narain Karthikeyan finished 22nd ahead of Timo Glock who stopped on track & ahead of teammate Pedro de la Rosa. Narain was around half a second quicker than Pedro, but this could be down to tyres. I'm not sure if the HRT-pair used super-softs or not.

It is worth noting that Pedro has a 5-place grid penalty for a gearbox change, so Narain should out-qualify the Spanish driver for the second time in two races :-)

We wish Narain, Nico & Paul the very best of luck!
