Friday Review

World Endurance Championship
Qualifying Results: Chandhok 6th in class & overall (1:48.784, +2.970 gap to session leader).

As usual, the manufacturer teams (Audi & Toyota) took the top three spots so this result is 3rd in the LMP1 trophy (four LMP1 trophy teams are taking part this weekend). It was Karun in the car for qualifying by the way :-)

The race is today (after the Warm-Up session) - we'll let you know how the team do!

Formula Two
As expected, Parthiva Sureshwaren is not taking part this weekend, we're guessing due to sponsorship problems - but that's unconfirmed.

Formula Renault 3.5
Test One Results: Bianchi 13th (1:50.064, +1.100 gap to session leader).
Test Two Results: Bianchi 15th (1:48.497, +1.081).

A decent start to the weekend for Jules, poor positions, but it looked like he was sandbagging.

The first qualifying session was held (in the wet) this morning:

Qualifying One Results: Bianchi 4th (2:10.006, +0.413 gap to session leader).

This means he'll start 4th on the grid for race one later today, a decent place to start from - the win is possible! Qualifying two & race two take place tomorrow.

British GT Championship & GT1
As expected, both Sailesh Bolisetti (saving money for 2013) & Armaan Ebrahim (dropped when the Indian race got cancelled) are not taking part in their respective series' for the remainder of the season.
