A few days ago we broke the news that Airtel has become the primary sponsor of the Indian GP. Well more news has reached us about the deal.
The partnership between Bharti Airtel and the Indian GP is a three year contract at a cost of Rs.38.8crore! This may seem alot at first however Indian businesses pay much more for cricket sponsorship so this is potentially a brilliant deal for Airtel as F1 reaches a massive proportion of people internationally.
As part of this deal Airtel get: branding on merchandising trinkets such as keyrings, paddock club hospitality, podium branding, spectator entrance branding and probably most importantly circuit signage.
