Belgian GP - Race

Results: Sutil 7th (6points), Di Resta 11th.

A great day at the office for Force India - 6points on the board and we have now closed the gap to Sauber to just 3points!

Everything went right for Adrian Sutil today be it strategy or the safety car and he was just able to stay out of trouble and pick up the positions =) In actual fact it could have been 6th but a flying Michael Schumacher was able to overtake towards the end of the race.

Meanwhile Di Resta finished 11th just outside of the points - for most of the race he lacked pace in the middle sector, i'm guessing that he lost some downforce from the car after Timo Glock clouted the right hand side of the VJM04 into the first corner on the opening lap. It was unfortunate for the Scottish driver but it could have been much worse among the chaos at the start of the race! Given the circumstances he did a very good job today =)

The other good thing for Force India is that if your quick at Belgium, you will be also quick at Italy (the next race) so we can hope for more of the same there =) Hopefully qualifying goes a bit better next time out too!

Remember to check back in a few days time to read the full race weekend report to be written by Darshan Chokhani! =)

Note: Just heard an interview with Di Resta and the incident with Timo Glock caused damage to Paul's rear suspension, sidepod and front wing. 11th place with so much damage is incredible!
