Belgian GP - Qualifying Results

Results: Sutil 15th (2:07.777), Di Resta 18th (2:07.758).

A disappointing qualifying for the Force India boys, it could have been so much better!

Di Resta got knocked out in Q3 after a poor strategy call to change to a new set of intermediate tyres midway through the session - the new set lacked temperature, Paul was unable to go faster and Kovalainen set a faster time to drop Di Resta down to 18th place.

Sutil meanwhile did get into Q2 and had set a decent laptime to be placed into 5th place but then unfortunately the German driver tried to take too much curb at Raidillon and smashed into the barriers on the Kemmel straight - he would eventually qualify 15th.

Unrealised potential for the Force India boys but as we've seen several times this season points are possible from this position, especially at Belgium where rain is a real possibility - we have to hope for the best!

Looking elsewhere, Bruno Senna, on his F1 comeback had a great day, qualifying 7th. Why am i mentioning this on an Indian blog? Well, Senna has been quick all weekend and i believe that shows how talented Karun Chandhok is. The two drivers were teammates last season for a period of time and they were very evenly matched so if Senna can be quick now then there is no reason why Karun can't also be quick :-)
