Belgian GP - Practice One Results

Results: Sutil 6th (2:04.663), Di Resta 20th (2:13.058), Chandhok 21st (2:13.090).

Running was reduced in this session due to an early rain shower but nevertheless Adrian Sutil managed to do more laps than anybody else (17 laps) and that should stand him in good stead for the rest of the weekend =)

As for Paul, he lost the rear end of the car in the slippery conditions with just over 15minutes of the session to go and tapped the barriers. A few moments before that Bruno Senna had done the same thing in the same place (turn nine). Thankfully the VJM04 didn't look too badly damaged and Paul was okay.

Meanwhile Karun Chandhok stepped into the Team Lotus car for this session only to replace Heikki Kovalainen and did a decent job to keep the machine on the track; it's hard to read anything into the laptimes in these conditions.

In the next session Nico Hulkenberg will be in the car to partner Paul Di Resta. Looking forward to FP2 where more rain is expected - but in Spa you never can tell! =p
